If You Had To be A Font, Which typeface would you be?

It is a logo of Android. I like this kind of design, it is really artistic. I wanna use this type of font in my logo.

Five Fonts

These are the five fonts I like in logo. They are The New York Times, Android, Dunkin Donuts, Coca Cola and The North Face. All are good designs.

Film Club Question and Answer

1.Q: What do you do in film club?
  A: We make video and film special events such as the Senior Kick Off.
2, Q: What type of movie do you watch?
A: We do not watch movies in film club. We make our own films instead.
3. Q: Do you review movies? How?
4. Q: What do you talk about in club?
A: We talk about film idea and how to execute them. We debate on camera angles and position to where the film should be shot. We also talk about scheduling so that the film would be organized
5. Q: What else will you do beside watching movies?
A: We have fun making video and editing them.

Summary: Film club is not same as what I thought: sit there and watch movies. The members are creating their own movies. The film club inspire students' interest about making film, which can let students better understanding how do people create films. It is a really interesting club.

Logos

I like the steam logo looks like. It is a gaming platform of Valve. Valve uses part of a steam machine as  part of the logo, which makes it looks really cool. the logo also represent the connection between different player, showing all the players are in a same big community. 

I dont know much about this logo. But the idea is really nice. there is a rabbit in a cat, and the cat is in a dog. I think it is a company relate to pets succor. Because the logo is all about pets. 

Portrait Transformtion Project

For my project, My theme is about food and how excited when two hungry people(Muji and Carlton) find food. This is the original photo:  

After I took their pose, I started looking for image which has indoor setting for fastfood store. I found a Dunkin Donuts's indoor setting.

 I combine one photo which has Muji and Carlton’s pose on it with a background photo which is a Dunkin Don uts indoor setting. I replace the snack on their hands by donuts. I use curve to change Muji’s arm color, to make it looks brighter. The original pose photo makes the Muji looks too white, so I use the color balance to add some red on the skin. Some parts of the background indoor setting is too bright, I use the Brightness layer mask to make it looks darker. After these, I use surface blur to dimmer the background. So that Muji and Carlton’s pose will stand out from the whole image, which can extrude how excited when they find food.
