Personal experience about micro aggression

    Micro aggression is common to see between strangers, but it can still happen in friends. People who get aggressed will feel uncomfortable, however people won't realize when they aggress someone. Sometimes when people ask me about China, but I don't know, people will be like "You come from China how could you don't know?" It sometimes makes me uncomfortable.

I think the cover of the book "Life of Pi" successful in capturing the book's main idea--The story about A man floats with a tiger in the ocean, Which is exactly showing on the cover. The main part of the cover, which is ocean, is dark blue, and the boat is white. The color choice is also easy to capture people's eyes-- A white boat is on a dark blue background. Also it captures the main idea-- The boat represents hope to keep living,

 I like this book cover, the ink effect looks really cool.

The nail on the bed really attracts my attention and I want to know the story behind it.

 The fog is in a cross shape and it is related to the book title "religion explained".

















I like the black and white color choice. It can attract my attention.

Mid Winter Recess

     My mid winter recess gives me more time to relax. I didn't go anywhere except the TOEFL test center. Most the time I was staying at home and perpare for the TOEFL test. But I did get more rest than before. 

Logo Reflection

   

  In this project, I think the most challenge part is how to connect the word "Film club" with the image. At first I put the word on the top, however I asked different classmate's opinion. Most of my classmates said that it will look better if the word is on the side. Also I like what I did about the detail. The camera I spend a lot of time on it. The thing I need to prove on is the color. I only color the word part. The image is almost black and white. If I can color it, this logo might be more attractive to the people who see this.

Art in NYC

      I visited Metropolitan Museum of Art, this is one of the artworks that most attracts me. 

      This artwork  is made by Louis Comfort Tiffany. This type of artwork is named Tiffany window.  It attract me because it looks really close to an oil painting, it has such details that its hard to believe it is made by glass.

      This is usually placed in the church or other religious place.

If You Had To be A Font, Which typeface would you be?

It is a logo of Android. I like this kind of design, it is really artistic. I wanna use this type of font in my logo.

Five Fonts

These are the five fonts I like in logo. They are The New York Times, Android, Dunkin Donuts, Coca Cola and The North Face. All are good designs.
