Art in NYC

I visited Metropolitan Museum of Art, this is one of the artworks that most attracts me.
This artwork  is made by Louis Comfort Tiffany. This type of artwork is named Tiffany window.  It attract me because it looks really close to aoil painting, it has such details that its hard to believe it is made by glass.
This is usually placed in the church or other religious place.

  1. Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice this while I was at the MoMa. I agree with your point about the details -- they're amazing for artwork on glass. The colors are this are very bright and that sort of gives the piece a little unrealistic quality...

  2. Omg, this painting is amazing. This painting is detail, elegant and very colorful. The use of technique and use of color make this artwork unrealistic.

  3. Really interesting choice in artwork. I have to agree the stain glass is very different some the flat outline shapes of traditional stain glass windows.
